After surgery or a hospital stay

How a Private Home Visit Works
Book. Call 0431 092 829 or use the contact form. You don't need a GP referral to see a physio privately.
First visit. Jovi assesses you at home, starts treatment, and gives you a plan and exercises to follow between visits.
Follow-up visits. Treatment and exercise progressions, with regular checks against the goals you set together.

Paying for Private Physio
- You pay per visit. Travel to your home within our service area is included, with no separate call-out fee.
- Health fund: if you have extras cover, claim from your fund with the receipt we give you. Home-visit physio has its own item numbers, so check with your fund what they pay.
- Medicare: with a GP chronic condition management plan, Medicare may pay a rebate for some visits each year, and a gap applies. See our Medicare guide.

Where We Visit
Private home visits are available across our whole service area. We visit homes across Hills District, Parramatta, Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai, North Shore, Inner West, Sydney CBD, and nearby suburbs. Not sure if you're in our area? Ask us.
Common Questions
Do I need a referral?
No. Physiotherapists can be seen directly when you pay privately. A GP referral is only needed for funded options such as Medicare. See do I need a referral.
What should I have ready for the first visit?
A list of your medicines, any scans or notes from your surgeon or GP, comfortable clothes, and a little space to move.
Is there funding I might be eligible for instead?
Possibly. If you are 65 or over, a veteran or an NDIS participant, check our funding options first.
