Mobile Physio for NDIS Participants
Wellworx Physio visits NDIS participants at home across Sydney. We work with participants whose therapy funding is self-managed or plan-managed.
Can We See You?
Wellworx Physio is not a registered NDIS provider.
That means we can see you if your therapy funding is self-managed or plan-managed. We can't see you if it is NDIA-managed (agency-managed). If your therapy funding is NDIA-managed, you can ask your planner or local area coordinator about how it is managed.
Physiotherapy is usually funded from the Capacity Building budget, under Improved Daily Living. Our NDIS physiotherapy guide explains how it works.
What a Visit Can Include
Physio at home is built around your goals and the place you live your daily life.
- Practice and exercises for walking, getting in and out of bed or a chair, and moving around your home.
- Strength and balance exercises, including a check of your falls risk.
- Physiotherapy for people living with stroke, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's. See neurological physiotherapy.
- A home exercise program you, your family or support workers can follow between visits.
- Progress reports for your plan review, when you need one.
Fees and Paperwork
- We charge within the NDIS price limits for physiotherapy. Provider travel is charged as the NDIS pricing rules allow.
- Self-managed: we invoice you or your nominee, and you claim from your plan.
- Plan-managed: we invoice your plan manager directly.
- Before booking, we confirm your plan type, the funding category and the fees with you or your plan manager.
For Support Coordinators and Plan Managers
You can refer a participant through our referral page. Please include the participant's plan type and the goals the physio should work on.
Where We Visit
We visit NDIS participants in their own homes. We visit homes across Hills District, Parramatta, Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai, North Shore, Inner West, Sydney CBD, and nearby suburbs. Not sure if you're in our area? Ask us.
